Calming Touch Home Care
"Sometimes it only takes one act of kindness to change a person's life"
How Do You Know When The Right Time Is?

"To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors"
It's becoming obvious your parents are getting older and it's getting harder for them to take care of themselves. You worry daily about them, they may fall, get hurt or even break a hip. You've approached the subject of staying in an assisted living facility, but they are very hesitant and frightened of the idea. It's becoming very hard on you to balance your life, raising your family and worrying about your parents. Let my company be your peace of mind. Let my aides help take some of the weight off your shoulders and help care for your parents. We have around the clock care, which can help give you comfort in knowing that your parents are being taken care of at home in a familiar environment that is comfortable to and for them.

About Me
Hi, My name is Kelly. I am the proud owner of this company. I have been a nurse for over 17 years. Caring for others has always been more than a career for me, it has been a passion. I've had the privilege of bringing comfort, support and encouragement to patients when it's needed most. I have experience in Alzheimers/Dementia, long term care, comfort care and also those with Parkinsons as well as other health conditions and disorders. Some of the most meaningful care happens in the comfort of a person's home. I believe every individual deserves the right to maintain their independence, feel safe, respected, valued and remain at home where everything is familiar and most comfortable.

Respite Care
Caring for a loved one is a meaningful responsibility, but every now and then you need a moment to rest and recharge. Our respite services allow family caregivers to take time for themselves whether it be a few hours or to take a vacation. We will provide the same compassionate care and companionship you would. Also, giving you the peace of mind, knowing your loved one is in gentle capable hands and they continue to feel safe, supported and cared for.

Safety checks/Fall prevention
Keeping your loved one safe at home is a top priority. By paying close attention to home environments, I can provide a safety check to help prevent falls and accidents before they happen. Making sure walkways are clear, lighting is adequate and everyday items are within reach. My goal is to help you create a secure and comfortable space for your loved one so they can move freely and maintain independence.

Skills Training
As your loved ones care changes, it may be hard to adapt to the new care required. I can provide family caregivers with the guidance and practical skills needed to care for a loved one. I can help assist with personal care, mobility assistance and show family caregivers how to create a safe environment. My goal is to give the family the confidence and knowledge to care for their loved one safely at home.

"Kelly cares for my husband, who is living with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and is no longer able to communicate or care for himself and his basic needs. Her presence brings light to his day-she makes him smile, consistently gets a response from him, and treats him with patience and kindness. Kelly is compassionate, attentive, and deeply dedicated to the well-being of those in her care. When she is with my husband, I know he is in good hands. Her presence brings me peace of mind".

Pam J.
"My name is Pam. My husband Bob has been living in the VA Community Living Center for eleven months. We met Kelly the first day. She talked directly to Bob and welcomed him to the CLC.I was really impressed with her ability to connect with him right away. I could tell this was going to be a good fit for him. She turned to me and wanted me to know his daily routine and that I was welcome any time to come and visit. During the days that followed I would randomly show up and see what he was doing. Sometimes he would be in the activity room with other residents, in the dining room or in his room.
The main thing to know is her patients come first. You'll never find a better person to care for your loved one".

"Kelly, A nurse who truly goes above and beyond, was a lifeline for us during the covid lockdown. She kept us informed daily about mom's condition and wound healing and truly listened to her needs. Beyond her professional duties as a nurse and caregiver, Kelly became a close friend we could always count on".
